Honda scored the first 50 years in America June 11, 2009, on the anniversary of the establishment of American Honda Motor Co., Inc., a small shop in Los Angeles June 11, 1959.

From 1959, fuel consumption Honda 50 motorcycles, all-new --2,010 Honda Insight hybrid car powered by gasoline and electricity, Honda has introduced new technologies and business strategies that shaped the industry and the growth of Honda including:
• First automaker to meet the U.S. Clean Air Act without a catalytic converter Civil CVCC (1974)
• Page the first car and the Environmental Protection Agency list of cars most fuel efficient civil (1977)
• First Japanese automaker to build motorcycles (1979) and cars (1982) America in Marysville, Ohio *
